Eigenmethod is now in its second year of steady remote operation.

We had no idea before that the temporary quarantine declared in mid-March 2020 would last so long.

Hence, when we moved into a remote mode, perceived as something temporary, we did not think about how it might affect our daily activities, how it would change our priorities and mindset.

Eventually, the concept of an office location and constant visits by consultants to customers has lost their relevance. We can highlight this fact as a plus. Because of remote mode, the SAP market has also become accessible to employees living in all cities in our country and abroad, without the relocation need.

The company expanded over the year, mostly due to remote positions and to Ukrainian cities where there are no traditional offices. For example, Eigenmethod has recruited SAP specialists from Lviv, Rivne, Dnipro, and Kharkiv and other countries—Kazakhstan, Belarus, Poland, and Lithuania over the past year.

Our company now has a hybrid work schedule; employees can work in the office or remotely if desired. This possibility gives more freedom and a work-life balance. Quarantine has shown that remote work can be more efficient. So, then why not allow people to work from home?

We let the employees choose where and what schedule they would be more comfortable working. It is not only motivating but also develops creativity.

Remote work has also greatly influenced our social, communication, and management skills – we have learned to form opinions better in emails. Our meetings have become shorter and more clearly structured. We have started to understand colleagues from a half-word, written in chat.

Both the company and the employees are comfortable with such a work format. Eigenmethod can work with the most substantial specialists from any country, and the team can perform its tasks from anywhere in the world.

With the hybrid work schedule, we have managed to stay at the same level without losing our productivity and improve it.

The most important thing is that we have succeeded and continue to enhance.

We do not stop there but continue to assess new needs, adapt, and transform in the current environment.
